MATCP is looking for communications assistance and are seeking an experienced and creative Communications Contractor to assist
us in enhancing our outreach efforts.

About Us:
Michigan Association of Treatment Court Professionals (MATCP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing judicial education to Michigan’s 210 treatment courts, which are recovery-centered justice initiatives that seek to transform lives and strengthen communities. We advocate for effective programs and provide resources to empower treatment courts and their teams.
We are seeking an experienced and creative Communications Contractor to assist us in enhancing our outreach efforts. This role is ideal for a communications professional with a passion for supporting nonprofit initiatives and a strong background in digital content creation.
Scope of Work:
The contractor will work remotely on the following tasks:

Toolkits: Develop comprehensive toolkits for treatment court programs, partners, and stakeholders to promote awareness, education, and engagement.

Social Media Posts: Create compelling content for our social media platforms that aligns with our mission and engages our target audiences.

Social Media Calendar: Develop and maintain a monthly social media calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting.

Blog Posts: Research and write blog articles on topics related to treatment courts, highlighting success stories, best practices, and industry news.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in nonprofit communications, marketing, or a related field.

Exceptional writing, editing, and content creation skills.

Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Familiarity with the treatment court field or similar sectors is a plus but not required.
Contract Details
-
Short-term, flexible, remote position. All equipment (computer, design software, etc.) to be provided by the independent contractor.

Estimated project time ranges from 9-12 weeks, hours per week TBD.

Hourly Compensation ranging from $17-$25, based on experience.
